Dr. Kristen Schultz is a clinical audiologist who is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care. She was first introduced to the field of audiology as an undergraduate student at SUNY Geneseo, where she was studying speech pathology. The combination of diagnostics and interpersonal skills appealed to her, so she shifted her focus from speech to hearing science. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in communicative disorders and sciences with a minor in Spanish language, Dr. Schultz continued her education at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
During her time at Northwestern, Dr. Schultz gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings throughout the Chicagoland area. She has experience with all ages — from newborn hearing screenings all the way to geriatric patients — and many clinical settings. She is trained in complete audiological evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and programming, vestibular testing, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, and aural rehabilitation. She honed her clinical and professional skills while completing her residency in audiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Schultz is committed to providing individualized treatment plans for all of her patients and looks forward to helping patients in Brooklyn hear their best!
